What if my camera doesn’t turn on when I try to scan QR codes?
To process shipments and customer pickups, you’ll need to use the Scan tool in your Wish Local app.
If your device’s camera isn’t starting when you use the app’s Scan tool, the Wish Local app likely doesn't have access to your camera.
Here’s how you can adjust your camera permission settings.
iOS devices
To check the camera permission, please go to:
- Open your device’s Settings.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap the Camera option to check if Wish Local has access to use your device’s camera.
Android devices
To check the camera permission, please go to:
- Open your device’s Settings.
- Tap Apps & Notifications.
- Locate and select the Wish Local app. If you can't find it, first tap See all apps or App info.
- Tap Permissions.
- Please ensure you have allowed Wish Local to have access to your camera.
Please keep in mind that the path might differ depending on your operating system. We recommend checking the operating manual of your device.
If you are still unable to use your device's camera through the Wish Local app after completing the above steps, please contact Wish Local support.
